Thanks!

This is going to be a long post today, so settle in and enjoy the show. Thanks to everyone that came to our client appreciation/Cinco De Mayo fiesta!  We missed all of you that couldn't make it.  Nathan and I had a great time having you all over and we hope that you all enjoyed the food, the company, the cupcakes and most importantly, the Wii!  A special thanks to Todd for supplying the entertainment,  now we have to start the desperate search for the elusive Wii system that Benjamin is begging for.  When it's time for us to once again celebrate Mexico's victory over France we'll do it all again!   

P.S. A big thanks to Jami for supplying us with the cupcakes for the evening!  Saint Cupcakes are the yummiest ever!






On to Saturday's workout.  We warmed up with some mobility drills and then did some med ball partner passes.  For skill we worked on pistol squats, pull-ups/ring pull-ups, and push-ups/ring push-ups.  Then everyone did a 500 meter max row.  We had a lot of new pr's on the row.  John F, Hadley, Jeff, John B, and Angel all set new records.  It was a little tough for everyone to sail through the workout after the row.

Workout was:

3 or 4 rounds

1 minute at each station with a running clock

ball slam
2 hand kettlebell swings
dumbbell thrusters

rest 3 minutes between rounds



Great job to Kay on her first workout!

Susan tried ring pull-ups for the first time and got 4 in a row!



Angel amazed everyone with her 55 consecutive double unders!

Thanks Nathan and Tina for hosting such a great party and welcoming us all into your beautiful home! It was nice to be able to talk to the other athletes not gasping for air.
